Rare diseases are life-threatening or chronically debilitating diseases which are of such low prevalence that special combined efforts are needed to address them. A rare disease, also referred to as an orphan disease, is any disease that affects a small percentage of the population.
Peertechz seeks to promote rare diseases as a public health priority through its Global Journal of Rare Diseases. With this motive, Peertechz has come to the conclusion that a further step is required to be taken by publishing manuscripts to actually clarify what rare diseases are as a public health concept.
To clarify the concept of rare diseases as a public health issue, Peertechz took the initiative to create a unique Global Journal of Rare Diseases that will publish manuscripts covering all aspects of rare diseases.
