The mission of GJIDCR is to promote and publish infectious diseases research in areas of basic sciences, clinical medicine and public health.

GJIDCR encourages research, education and dissemination of knowledge in the field of Infectious Diseases across the world thus promoting translational research by striking a synergy between basic science, clinical medicine and public health. The Journal intends to bring together scientists and academicians in Infectious Diseases to promote translational synergy between Laboratory Science, Clinical Medicine and Public Health. The primary task of journal is to rapidly publish high-quality original articles, reviews, editorials, and case reports in the field of infectious diseases. In order to promote productive academic communication, the peer review process for GJIDCR is transparent; to this end, all published manuscripts are accompanied by the anonymized reviewers’ comments as well as the authors’ responses. The primary aims of the GJIDCR are to improve diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive modalities and the skills of clinicians and to guide clinical practice in infectious diseases.
